Welcome to Week 1 of Distance Learning Here are your tasks for the week.  Please feel free to take pictures of work that you are proud of and post them onto your blog or email them to your classroom teacher at jamie@elmpark.school.nz .  Science in a Van on YouTube also does live experiments at 12:45pm everyday so head over there to check these out!  MONDAY Reading:    1) Choose 2 stories to read on Sunshine online, Literacy planet or from your library shelf at home. 2) Read 1 to yourself and one to somebody else in your home. 3) Choose your favourite story and draw a picture of the best part from the book.   4) Write a few sentences explaining why this was your favourite part.  This was my favourite part because... Welcome to Room 29's class blog! From Monday 30 March until Friday 10 April I will be providing learning materials online for caregivers and students to access on this blog. The activities are entirely optional.  However, if you'd like to take a picture and upload the activity on your child's blog, or email it to me that's fine. The activities for the week will be uploaded on Sunday 29 March and Sunday 5 April. Most of it will be covering content the children should know and can benefit from more practise. I will also be providing extra links to other websites regarding current events, science and inquiry topics.
